Our Team
The Registered Manager is in charge of the day to day running of the home. The care team is made up of a Deputy Manager, Senior Care Assistants, domestic staff and cooks.
During the morning there are four carers on duty, as well as a member of the Management. During the afternoon there are three carers on duty. Two Care Assistants are on awake night duty. They regularly visit Residents requiring attention during the night and answer call bells. Ample domestic and maintenance staff ensure the home is always fresh and clean.
We select staff with a kind nature and who are devoted to providing a high standard of care. All staff attend regular training sessions to keep up to date with Health and Safety regulations, fire procedures and first aid etc.

Karen Sinnott, Registered Manager
Karen is a registered Nurse and has previously worked in the local community and in a charity run nursing home in Eastbourne.
Karen has recently achieved her NVQ 5 in leadership for health and social care and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our home.
Lucy Burbidge, Deputy Manager
Lucy has been working in adult social care for over 10 years and is currently completing her Level 4 qualification.
Nicole Pollard, Finance Manager
Since 2000, Nicole has worked at Berry Pomeroy in various managerial roles and in January 2025 became our Finance Manager.
